ATI Radeon x1900 All-In-Wonder Vs Standard x1900,without AIW

If I get the All-In-Wonder(AIW) Version, is there a performance compromise, or will it run games just as good as the standard x1900, and have all the TV tuning goodies?

The AIW versions of the X1900 are clocked much lower than the XTs.

The core can be overcloeked to XT speeds, but the memory probably won't be overclocked that high. Still, it's a good overclocker's card but not much of a stock performer - it'll even lose to an X1800 XT now and again.

I got it for $340 when they were going for more, (this is before the X1900 series arrived) but I got $300 for my 6800 Ultra on ebay, so it only costed me $40

Well, in case you were wondering, there appears to be NO "plain" X1900. Just to clear that up.

As for what there DOES happen to be, right now, there's the X1900AIW, the X1900XT, and the X1900XTX. The only difference between those three cards are clock speeds. Respectively:[*:961f8dc890]AIW: 500MHz core, 1000MHz VRAM
[*:961f8dc890]XT: 625MHz core, 1450MHz VRAM
[*:961f8dc890]XTX: 650MHz core, 1550MHz VRAMClearly, there's a big gap between the AIW and the XT. This does translate into a serious performance difference; the X1900AIW simply cannot match the better X1900 cards, and does get about 65-70% of the performance, making it better than the X1800XL, but definitely worse than the X1800XT.

I have the AIW 1900 I think it's great, it can crank out really respectable frame rates and the software bundle is awesome for the money.

I paid about $450.00 for the card w/ Adobe Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements (retail $150.00) Figure in the TV tuner and Radio receiver is worth at least $150.00 and the cards an absolute steal.

with 4x AA and 8x AF i can crank out at least 45fps in most games at 1280 x 1024.
