There was "another" Dr Dolittle on Atlantic that was also a tamer. I used
to see him when I went to practice taming late in the evenings. I have not
see "our" Dr Dolittle in many months. I used to run into him in Skara
around midnight picking up BOD's.

I think most of the people Katherine hung out with have quit. I know the
ones that she hung with that had houses around my place are all gone.
I suspect she is gone also.

I was hoping to make it, and to at least 'ghost' along...

But my father in law wants us to come over and visit, and as his days
run short we deny him little that's in our power to give.

We waited around in Ice's house there for a while (some folks were a bit
late as expected) but eventually our unorganized lot went to Homare to
fight those very hard to target Yomoto warriors in the mine there. Ali
(Ice's friend who lurks here) died a lot. After the 2nd or 3rd time the
rest of us started trying to run interference. Those little buggers would
lock onto her and chase her all over the place. Very annoying. But still
pretty fun. Let's see, Ice, Ali/Danielle, Cyrus, Sniffy/Windsorfox, Dr.
Doolittle, and me/Nimble were the first to party up together. We came
across a couple other players one of whom kept showing up as a ghost so we
eventually added them to the party as well. It was fun but it rather
reminded me of Doom with it's frenetic pace. :))

Thanks for letting me know how things went. I woulda been one of the
persistant ghosts 8) Work does tend to have bad timing, but that's what you
get with 24/7 on call. Not the first time nor the last I'm sure. Glad
everyone had fun! Hopefully I can catch the next one. Sounds like it was
good fun.

They really did not like her did they. She is really a very nice person,
if they had just given her a chance to get to know them. *grin*
I feel bad about her getting killed so many times. I used to be better
at backing her up. We really made a good team in years past, but
I have kind of slowed down. I was having a hard time seeing everyone
in that cave. Maybe I need to get more light on my monitor. I have
nightsight charms, so it must be my monitor brightness.

It was fun. Hope we can do it again some time.

I was trying to have Ed tank for her but it was hard keeping track of who
was fighting what at times and then the health bars kept getting messed up.

I took my tamer/archer/paladin back there to poke a few holes in them
tonight. Well it seems that was a kind of a bad idea; anytime I hit one of
those Yomotsu Warriors it would do like 52 points of damage to ME! Two hits
on them and I would have killed myself! WTF is the deal with that?!?
Anyway, IIRC, Marielle (Aliera) was fighting with a bow last night. Kind of
made me wonder if the same thing was happening to her.

Hey!
Marielle is a necro with GM Mge and GM cooking 😛
No bows on this girl!
But whenever I did cast on them they would return major damage to me and if
they got 2 close it was one hit at one time and I was a goner!

Sorry, I thought I saw you using a bow at one point.

In any case, the yomotsu warrior "return fire" dagger ranged attack
certainly contributed to your troubles and that was my main point. I really
was trying to keep you alive. ;-)
