Hello all!
I've got an ATR2100 USB Mic that I've been using for a few days with Windows 8.1 It worked fine, both on my laptop and self-built desktop.
However, after I updated to Windows 10 (upgrade on the laptop, upgrade and then clean install on desktop), the microphone stopped working correctly on the desktop. On the laptop, it works perfectly fine, but on the desktop, the recording constantly cuts out for seconds at a time, and whatever audio IS captured is fuzzy and filled with popping noises (though it's usually only 1-2 seconds of loud, recorded audio).
I've rebooted, used Windows Update, reinstalled audio drivers, all to no avail. Is this the microphone's fault, or the driver's fault? Or is there something I'm missing here?
