Question Audigy Rx SoundCard not being detected on Motherboard

Hello all
I just recently purchased an Audigy Rx soundcard for my PC and I've updated BIOS, disabled onboard HD audio and tried putting it in different PCI slots to no avail.
my specs:
ASUS ROG Strix z370-E gaming Motherboard
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 TI
Samsung EVO 860 2TB SSD
Corsair 32000Mhz DDR4 16gb(2x8) RAM
Intel-i7 8700k CPU
EVGA 1000w GQ PSU
CoolerMaster Dual fan CPU cooler
Windows 10 Professional 64bit

I have my soundcard connected via optical going to my soundbar, and I have tried multiple solutions but still can't figure out whats wrong.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

After talking with tech support, it appears there is a compatibility issue with my motherboard with this soundcard(im not sure if this is 100% or not) but I will be returning this card and trying another.
