My sound is not being detected at all, even though all of the essential drivers have been installed. All that is being shown in the sound manager is NVIDIA High Definition Audio, my headphones are not being detected by my rear 3.5mm audio jack as well as the front 3.5mm audio jack. If anyone has encountered this issue or has solved this, please get back to me ASAP.

If you want to continue using the 3.5mm analog audio ports on your PC then you should not have installed the Nvidia audio drivers when you installed the driver package for your new graphics card.
Uninstall the entire Nvidia driver package, then reinstall using custom install and deselect the Nvidia audio drivers before proceeding.

I made the same mistake when I bought my first graphics card with audio capability --- above procedure fixed it.

Cheers! I'll get back to you after I've tried that out, before now it fixed itself but now for some reason it came back. The only hint I had for it being fixed was the ASUS audio mixer...
