Audio stopped working,windows 8.1 enterprise

Good Evening,

Today i decided to clean my desktop as i have done many times before.

Took every single part off and cleaned it whistle clean.

Put it back togather, all working fine, except for my built audio

My M.B is the

intel bg41rq
windows 8.1

I went to device manager, unistalled audio driver, reinstalled them, did system restore, tried updated software , nothing. System keeps showing X on the speaker . When i right click it , and goto volume control options , i only see

tried downloading realtek driver , nothing, restarted pc , nothing, sshut down and restart still nothing. System restored a second time for another date and still same problem. checked sound services and nothing

Beating my head to a wall here, would appreciate your help on what i should do , as i am not intersted in formating my pc

So a minor update,

On linux audio is working fine but when i switch to windows. nothing

built in sound just goes looney

gave up on this
went out bought a usb sound adapter for 8$
works like a charm
