Audio stutters every 2 minutes

Hello, recently I've been having problems with sound on my pc. the sound just mutes for about 1 second per 1-2 minutes, whether it's youtube, gaming or MPC.
My build is i5-6600k, R9 380x, Z170-HD3, 8GB RAM
I found nothing suspicious in the resource monitor, and the CPU doesn't really run at high loads.
any advice?

I don't have a sound card, I'm using the motherboard's Realtek for audio.
What do you mean by connection?
