Question audio

i had to reinstall windows and when i did all the audio stopped working to my headphones and microphone. i can hear if i switch the output to my monitor speaker but the headset doesnt work. if i run a windows troubleshoot it makes the quiet beep thru my headset but thats all the sound i can get. and i know the headset works because i tested it by plugging it into a xbox controller and it worked there

List PC specs and Windows version you're running. Have you tried going to the motherboard manufacturer's website for audio driver?
