A license is not prevention for activation on other PCs, and I don't know
why you have to point this out; is it some MS cop thing feeling you have to
let others know about their duty to MS..
He also doesn't need to register with Dell, since he bought it from Dell,
the service tag/code is already tied to that purchaser, which had to give
payment and shipping info to Dell to get the PC.
Funny thing though, though (as you say) Dell , which in this case is
responsible for XP support, and you say should be registered with Dell, one
gets the opportunity to register with MS when they first turn on their Dell
PC for the first time.
