Hello Community,

the problem is my pc is auto-restarting randomly, sometimes it's on for 15 minutes then restart, sometimes 2 hours etc.

it will restart doing nothing and restarting even in bios.

troubleshoots :
replaced PSU 3 times
replaced cmos battery
removed the rams then put it back
disabled auto restart on system failure(computer>right click>advance system settings)

I got 70c in my CPU temp,
and then I replaced the heatsink and the temp is only 43-44c max. magically.

but the problem still insist.
before this problem occured there was a fluctuation in electricity in our area.

Specs :
h61m-ds2 r3 Gigagbyte board
4g x 2 Kingston ram
Intel i3
500gb hitachi + 320gb WD HDD
Palit GT 730
generic 500w PSU
cooler master CPU fan

EDIT UPDATE : my PC can run for days. but if you turn it off, it'll have the problem again which is auto restart within 2-3 sec.

anyone knows how to fix this? my last resort was to format it, but since its more of a hardware problem, i'll think it over.
Thanks in advance.

Solution
If it is in fact the motherboard failing to regulate power properly and causing the errors then no there's no way of fixing it. The only way might be with a bios update if the bios is somehow corrupt but if it's something physically wrong with the board it means replacing the motherboard.

Hello, I did what you told me and try to find a solution, but then i found out yesterday, after troubleshooting almost 9 hours, i found out that the motherboard is not regulating power in the CPU. sometimes it turns on for a day, sometimes it's not. do you have an idea how to fix it?

Question from Pachupappy : "how to fix Motherboard not regulating power on it's CPU?"

Hello guys, I'm from this thread : http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3242168/auto-restart-cpu-failure.html#18919429

im dealing this problem for almost 2 weeks and yesterday i found out that the motherboard is not powering the CPU at all. (power failure)

Troubleshooting : i brought 2 spare PC's of my friends to find out what's wrong. all are good except the motherboard.

It's still running(randomly) but if I shutdown I'll deal with the problem again.
does anyone knows how to fix the problem without buying a mobo?
