Availability of T-Birds with 266 fsb

Does anyone know of any merchants that are offering the T-Birds with the 266 fsb?

You can wish all you want dude.. I am still waiting for my TB 1.2 GIG 200FSB...It hurts waiting for it.. I have a total system all ready to go just missing the CPU.. HURTS...

Man, I need a black market connection or something... Aren't there any Micron or AMD employees pipelining a few out on the sly?

They just turned up at Alienware (www.alienware.com). They are using the Ali Magik1 mobo which got only a ho-hum review from Toms. That kind of worries me. Any thoughts from more experienced people?

The rumor before the ALI Magic chipset actually came out was that the performance was going to very good. I believe that after the chipset has matured a little bit more with more BIOS updates, that the performance will at least reach that of the AMD 760.

I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but short of a limited release to Micron PC for use in their "XP" series, you can't get them yet in the US (I've read that some lucky stiffs in the UK and Germany have been able to get their hands on some).

It's been reported in the financial news that AMD's plant has had (undisclosed) production problems. When I phoned AMD, no one would even give me an ETA on the 266MHz FSB T-birds!
