Avivo and vivo

Okay, I am finding myself a little confused and in need on some clarification.

Is Avivo in any way related to the older vivo (video in video out)? In other words, can I use the HDTV port on my video card (sapphire HD 4770) as an input as well as an output?

TO rogerjowett, please don't hijack someones thread. To bartonfink, no AVIVO is AMD's video transcoder used to offload the decoding and encoding of video from the CPU to the GPU. The HDMI in your graphics card is only a video output.
