Hello, i still cant decide what Motherboard to buy cause its my first time building a pc..
-First problem is i need the SLI/Crossfire for gaming that B450 only support crossfire, and idk whats better an crossfired rx 590 enough for 1440p 144hz gaming or i should go for SLI 1080ti?
-Second problem is the X470 pro carbon have SLI and can it easily handle or need some settings to run 1440p 144hz gaming with SLI 1080ti?
-Third problem is whats better between B450/X470 for overclocking 3700x to 4.4Ghz with AIO 240mm?
In my country B450 cost 113$ and X470 cost 200$, and i can’t spend more than that..
My budget for build is around 1350$ and my GPU I would buy is used mint condition so the price is roughly almost same between Crossfired new rx 590 and SLI used 1080ti

My main thing is gaming 6hours a day and second is editing or rendering video just for hobby 2-3hours a day

My upcoming spec:
R7 3700x / R5 3600
GTX 1080ti SLI / RX 590 Crossfire
Trident Z Neo 3200 cl16
Corsair H100i
Corsair RM 750x / RM 1000
Monitor: LG 27GL850

Wdyt Guys? Your Opinions Means a Lot, Thanks!

A 1080Ti may not be able to push 144fps at ultra/max settings in some games when running 1440p but neither can a 2080 Super/2080Ti. You will need to compromise some settings, however in most games the difference between medium/high to ultra is not that noticeable unless you compare pictures side by side, you won’t notice if playing fast moving games. SLi/crossfire is just a poor option, always better with 2 single stronger card.
The boards are both solid. Sli setups or crossfire is not well optimized on a lot of titles at the moment.
Your setup choices are a bit confusing to be honest 2x 1080ti and 2x Rx590 are to very different beasts. 1x 1080ti costs as much as 2 x Rx 590 and got roughly more than double the performance.
If you ask me go for a single 1080ti for 1440p gaming and call it a day.

Shall i choose b450 and just 1x 1080ti instead of x470 1x 1080ti ? And i did some research that 1080ti oc cant push 144fps on most triple A games.. does it will bottleneck my 1440p 144hz monitor?

dual gpu will show impressive fps numbers in synthetic benchmarks.
But, your gaming experience is likely to be better with a single strong card.
Dual gpu is prone to screen tearing and stuttering.
Some games do not support dual gpu and some even play worse in dual gpu mode.

Another potential issue is the psu requirements.
Your rm750w psu is excellent, but more like 850w is recommended for either of your options:

Do not plan on overclocking ryzen meaningfully.
No matter how much you spend on a cooler.
The X suffix chips are better binned if you want the max clock rate.
Build for your primary use which is gaming. How much do you really care if a multithreaded rendering run takes a bit longer.

Unless you care about ray tracing a GTX1080ti at a bargain price would let you spend more elsewhere.

And, I wonder if today is a good time to buy when Intel will apparently launch a ryzen competitor soon.
They are not about to let amd eat their lunch.
You could do worse than a i909900K or it's successor.

Thankyou guys, now I go for single used 1080ti instead 👍🏻
But i saw on other ppl threads that said b450 toma max cant push 3700x daily on 4,3ghz is that true?
And how about the OCing RAM? If i use b450 can i push my 3200 cl16 to 3600 stable? Cause the x470 only have 3466 instead of b450 have 4000++... is that a big diffrence peformance when gaming?

I am running a 3700x on an Asus B450-i Gaming Strix with Ballistix Sport LT 3000 cl 15 and managed to overclock the Ram to both 3800 cl 16 and 3400 cl 14. And I am by no means an experienced overclocker.

On the topic of the 3700x and top frequencies on different chipsets it is possible that you achieve a slightly higher boost frequency on x570 like 50-100 mhz. To me thats not worth spending the extra 100 dollar on it. I am using PBO with a manually unlocked PPT and manage an all-core boost of 4050 mhz under maximum load (Folding@Home on all cores).
