Hey,

I just build a system with the following specs:

MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX 7C02v35 bios
Ryzen 5 3600

HyperX 16GB Fury DDR4 3600MHz CL17 KIT HX436C17FB3K2/16
2 SATA SSDs (Sansung 840 EVO for boot drive, and a 850 EVO)
2 HDDs (Samsung ST1500LM006)
Vega 64 GPU

no more PCI-E device

XFX Pro 650W

Windows 10 64 bit

First every drive was detected properly. After a few restart started the problem.

When the SSDs were at port 1 and 2, the HDDs were only detected at port 5 and 6.
When the SSDs were at port 3 and 4, the HDDs werent detected at all no matter where i pluged them.
When the SSDs were at port 5 and 5, the HDDs were only detected at port 2.

Is there any BIOS option that i overlooked, or this is a motherboard problem?

Is this just in the BIOS or in Windows? If in Windows, is this a clean OS installation ?

I can play games with it, and i had no crashes or devide disconections. I used the same power supply with my previous PC.

And if it is a power supplay issue, why does it work with some ports and not with others?

First i used the cables from my previous build, after i tried with the new cables that came with the motherboard, then i used 2 cables from an other machine, and it was the same.
