Question B650 Gaming AX crashing

Morning all.

I really need some help. My nephew tried to update the BIOS on his Gaming X AX, Rev 1.2. since updating it will not boot bast the MB logo, it shows the options on screen (i.e. fastboot) but is frozen. occasionally you get the repairing sign up but again nothing happens.

I can get into the BIOS prior to this, have tried resetting to defaults, Q-flashing the latest BIOS and also the last BIOS from the website, I have also tried clearing the BIOS but nothing changes.

I have also tried fresh windows install media but does not boot that far to use (again occasionally get the windows logo, but nothing more

Any tips would be really appreciated.

was there a reason to update the bios? maybe he did something else that cause the problem

Afternoon, nothing he is admitting to. Apparently it was running slow so he used the Gigabyte app to update, nothing else and did not open it up.

maybe running slow is the issue. open it up and see if the cpu fan is spinning

He has a Liquid cooler - Corsair H100i, all fans are spinning and whole system is a year old.
