Back panel connectors doesnt work

Im not sure if none of them work, but at least the usb port and the hdmi port on the MSI z370 pc pro mobo. ive checked all the connectors to the mobo but nothing seems to be out of place. help

the sound and ethernet wont work till intel chipset or amd chipset drivers are installed and then you install the drivers for both ports. make sure under device manager there no missing drivers. for the audio port make sure windows did not default to hdmi audio. if it did the audio ports will be turned off. make sure if the mb has realteck sound chipset in windows sound device is set to realteck speakers. if it on try your speakers in the green colored port. also make sure the audio output not mutted. if the ethernet port is having issues make sure the mb shield not shorting the port out.

The sound ports arent the problem yet. the display port doesnt work so i cant boot into windows or anything like that plus the usb ports doesnt work either so i cant plug in my mouse or keyboard

The mobo has on-board video output through the rear panel ports. Do you also have a video card plugged into a PCIe slot? IF you do, have you tried connecting your cable to the monitor to both the rear panel HDMI port and the video card output port? Also check the menu items in the monitor itself - is it set to display the correct input signal?

didnt work. its strange because everything else connected to the motherboard works and lights up normally
