I have tried to 'back up' all the contents of my
computer. I followed the instructions on the Wizard, but
when I press the backup button, I get a message that I
have to put in a path and file name. The wizard doesn't
give any instructions on how to do that. can anyone help?

thanks

Dont know about that one, however microsoft techs will tell you the best
back-up in xp is the File-Transfer-Wizard.Set computer as old, transfer the
collected data to a new folder that you create, when the wizard is thru,
transfer new folder data to a cd.This way,if xp crashes,or system failure,all
that is needed is xp reinstall, then updates, then open the wizard and youre
settings are restored.
