Whenever I hit the backslash key on my keyboard (Next to Z as I'm in UK) windows mutes my PC and activates the magnifier even though I have this disabled in accessibilty. This is extremely annoying and I cant seem to find a fix anywhere or anyone else with this issue.

Also worth noting is if I hit the backslash key in a text field it shows " \- " even though those keys are no way near each other and I have a mechanical keyboard.

Any help is appreciated.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs.

Make and model keyboard?

Try another known working keyboard on your computer.

Try your keyboard on another known working computer.

Determine if the problem follows the keyboard or stays with your computer.

If the latter, manually download, reinstall, and reconfigure the keyboard drivers.

Also depending on which brand of mechanical keyboard you have, go to the manufacturer website and download the correct driver or suite for the keyboard,
Once its installed correctly, reboot the machine once to see if it types normally like it did on windows 10.
