Hi,
I'm using Windows 7 with several encrypted HDDs and an SSD, and an external 5TB USB3 drive, now also encrypted with VeraCrypt.
Before I encrypted the external drive, I was using Windows 7 built-in backup to backup to the drive.
Now that the external drive is encrypted, W7 no longer allows me to use it as a backup drive. It does not show up in the drop-down of available drives.
How can I backup my PC to the encrypted drive?
I understand it could be tricky in case I need to restore, but I think I can deal with that even tho it would take a while (e.g. booting some Linux distro, decrypting the drive and then restoring by regular means, or just copying the stuff I need directly).
Right now I need to deal with backing up since I'll be moving. Any ideas are appreciated.
