Though it is says its from google it is still technically adware. If you are using chrome or firefox I highly recommend adblockplus extension. Its trusted, works great, and can block features such as this.
see eaven with a fresh install of windows its the same old new don't matter I can install windows hook up the net go right to toms signed in and theres ads toms can be the first web page I use and theres still ads
no thanks --- one thing I was thinking about was I was helping a guy here with AMD drivers [14.4] I'm suer you seen a lot of poste on them.. so I went to AMD and downloaded the driver and installed it to see what the deal was everyone was having with them for me at the time was it would crash ie11 on exit with a atidxx32dll error also it showed after I uninstalled then to go back to my old driver it showed this deal http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2198236/amd-sneaking-spyware.html have not found that yet but still shows installed and up to date.. now thinking back I wonder if this started with that 14.4 driver it just starting to ''ad'' up
You can try doing a driver wipe and try again.
AMD Gaming Evolved and raptr however should have to effect here. They simple optimize games (If you want) etc. Mine was uninstalled when I uninstalled my drivers to switch to Nvidia. I doubt that is the cause however.
well I guess it don't give you a option for uninstalling it as I posted don't know may risk that malwarebytes thing to see if it finds something --I sure don't want to but I don't have nothing on here that I cant wipe out and do a fresh install of windows just lots of bills updates to wait on
so far nothing I use shows anything just for fun I downloaded the windows malware removal tool and it come up with nothing let me go look at the malware bytes stuff
Ok, this should throw a wrench in the machine. I get that same add on OP post... In my phone. It usually has something to do with one of the tags, and so far everyone has been from amazon.
well malware bytes let me give them my e-mail address but don't give me the download to use see this is why I don't do these things they got my e-mail and I got nothing
Only thing I can think of is that there were a couple of ISPs that got in trouble a while back for adding ads to pages that passed through their networks. Maybe they're still doing it? @junkeymonkey and Karadjgne, what ISP are you on? If you log on using a different connection (e.g. cellphone hotspot), what do you see?
I see ads in reviews/articles and the homepage, but not anywhere in the forums.

Nice, thanks for the update. It really sucked having those ads, it meant on a phone that the OP post would be 2-3 letters wide, which makes for really interesting reading, however, I'm not Japanese, so I read left to right not top to bottom 😀
