banner ads in posts

here today I see that opening a thread I now get ad's in individual posts in the thread.. is this something new or what??

Well, my series of 'post' banner ads went away, and as expected I was 'ad free' up until yesterday. Now I have the same ads on my phone that I get when not logged in, the ones that appear at the very bottom of the screen. I did however fix that myself. I was using an app shortcut to open Toms on my homescreen. I changed that to 'view desktop site' and 'poof!' ad free again. Dunno if that helps anyone or not, its info non-the-less. Cheers!

I'm using a desktop and go through google or yahoo and type in toms and so on... no shortcuts here.

Personal desktop? or public? if personal, I'd make either the homepage or forums home a 'favorite' , so much easier and quicker. If public, then open the browser and type direct for Toms in the address bar, not through the search engine, again, saves some time.

it did not change a thing its in favorites but I hardly use that I just most time type it in and this is not public computer

I thought it was only in the forums that the no-ads bit applied? I see ads in reviews and on the homepage.

Those Kontera things definitely should be gone, though.

I still get ads on the bottom of my phonescreen, unless I have it set to 'view as a desktop'
