Question Basic Gaming PC - Advice needed please!!

Hi!! Am planning to guide a friend for a basic multi-purpose 720p Gaming desktop..
Do I get the AMD 3400G or the i3-9100F + RX 560.. Basically both cost the same....

If your doing 60 hz, both those builds will be able to get 1080p60 at low-medium settings. I would go for the core i3 build if you want to do more gaming and less work, you can upgrade to an i5 later.

If gaming is just a side note, the Ryzen build. If gaming is more important, the i3 with the 560. The 3400g is going to multitask better. What is the budget here?

Is not the R5-1600 sometimes seen for as low a$79 on clearance these days?

It'd be hard to choose 4c/4t for gaming intentionally this late into 2019....(or at least it should be)

Whats your budget?

Also keep in mind the ryzen cpu comes with a decent stock cooler if your looking for absolute minimal price and effort. They will both be very similar performance wise, the intel chip slightly outperforming the ryzen chip in gaming... and the ryzen chip being slightly better in multitasking and such.
