Batman Arkham Asylum pc issues

Hey all. I am need of assistance. All of a sudden when I try to use the explosive gel, my right click will not work. I select the gel, and it tells me to left click to spray and it absolutely will not do it. I have reset the controls to be button activated and even that won't fix it.

Is this a problem others have found a fix for?

Should I delete the game and reinstall it?

I am just looking for answers... this has never been an issue before. It has been a while since I have played and I have never once had this issue before.

Any advice is well appreciated.

You know that the game is broken on PC? I simple doesnt work properly, its works perfect on consoles. Its the worst port to come to PC. At the start is was so broken, that they took it off steam to fix it, and then, when it came back it was still broken.

So they really is no hope for batman on PC. 🙁 thats why i just mostly play on PS4, less issues.

It didn't seem to work. It let me reassign the actions but it is still inconvenient and I just have the memory of using the assigned buttons from before so I am still looking for a fix.

I think the OP is having issues with Batman Arkham Asylum and not Batman Arkham Knight.Arkham Asylum runs fine on many systems.
To the OP, there are two things you can check :

1) Are you sure the surface you want to spray the gel on is destructible? If you stand near a wall which cannot be destroyed in-game ,then Batman will just look at the gel gun and put it back.

2) Second ,if the object(s) can be destroyed by explosive gel,are you standing too close to them? Trying walking backwards till the prompt appears...and when it does,then spray the gel onto that particular object.

yes sorry i misread that. Sorry once again, but dont get arkham knight on PC.

As for the fix now, i have no idea, cause usually the biggest problems can be fixed with reinstalls.

I've troubleshot that several times- b-man's proximity to explody things- and it doesn't seem to be the issue.
