Was thinking of starting a thread about Battlefield 3 on Toms.
Subjects:
1- Gameplay ( tips, glitches 😀 )
2- Opinions about maps and weapons ( Ideas on changes to maps or Guns for Christmas )
3- Screenshots or videos ( montage or funny moments....preferably the funnies 😉 )
4- FAQs ( PC requirements etc.... though this has mostly been covered by the sticky )
5- Some other stuff that we shall think of.......

Subjects to Avoid:
1- Criticism on Call of Duty series ( Don't like, Don't hate it, just Don't want any flaming )
2- Asking for CD key or "borrowing" BF3 accounts
3- The usual No Nos in life and on Toms

That's cool... what is that? A glitch with the laser site?

And yes, if it was server side hit detection the low-ping players would have the advantage but not much because of smoothing and overall the gameplay would be better for all. Client side, if you get 4+ high pingers then the game goes to poo-poo for everyone.

Just a short shotgun video and featuring my favorite gun the Spas and trolling with the M1014... didn't have much recorded and used what I had. I should have done some transitions, slow-motion and close ups.

Personally, I use the ironsights on the Remington 870 though, feel that other sights just seem to make it feel weird as it's only for close range.

The 870 doesnt need a site.. it prolly has the best irons in the game.

I take it you're being facetious.

That gun... I unlocked it and used it for about five minutes. Couldn't hit the broad side of a barn... the iron sights on that thing are like, well... like a wall! Pray and shoot!

You know what really pisses me off about BF3? You'll be in a game and there will be a squad or more with people with the same clan tag and they all have 300+ pings. It's not just some random player (which I can put up with) but a group... doesn't EA realize these people are doing it on purpose? Blatantly exploiting the game and it's crappy hit detection. It sucks, first it lags out a server and second, it makes it 10X harder to shoot them. If I were them I'd be ashamed, have to get a high ping just to do well in a GAME and them doing it as a clan just shows how much they suck.

Yea, problem with it being client side.
I'm getting killed after ducking behind walls a lot lately because of it. (My friend shot me while I was standing, though I was already prone from my view.

Definitely, happens all the time. I'll duck around a corner go prone and bam dead. The game is great but they seriously need to fix the hit detection. It's bad. Sometimes it works and time to kill is fast and other times it takes a whole clip from an ACW.
