Hello Thanks for taking the time to read my thread as I am desperate at this point solve this very
annoying problem I am having with my gaming PC. I am having reoccurring issues that couldn't be fixed or effectively identified by either EA technical Support or by My local PC repair place so needless to say after spending a lot of time and money trying to solve these issues I am at a loss on what my next step should be.
The most common error I am getting is with Battlefield 4, the game will minimize down to my desktop toolbar spontaneously and the application then becomes unresponsive to alt+tap, or clicking on the desktop toolbar icon. The program will remain running in the task manager until I have to psychically shut it down in order to restart the game. Sometimes the Nvidia driver will crash and almost every game I have at some point will experience a crash. It has happened to shogun 2, farcry 3, Wargame European escalation, as well as battlefield 4.
I have taken a lot of steps to try and fix my issues including replacing my processor and motherboard, as well as a fresh install of windows to clean some of the clutter off my computer.
As I am well aware Battlefield 4 has been plagued with issues and I have tried virtually every fix to get the game to run without crashes. I have switched to "borderless" in the display settings, set up a user.cfg file among other things. But based off the wide range of crashes I am experiencing on every game I am at a loss on what the next step should be for me to fix my issue.

Do you have an inbuilt soundcard? my inbuilt soundcard caused me similar issues with BF3 if I remember correctly. I seem to remember punkbuster and a particular soundcard/driver file not getting along and hanging my system.

specifically it is the Nvidia Driver that is crashing and I am sure that it must be some sort of issue dealing with the driver. I have kept my drivers up to date, but with the fresh install of windows 7 my current setup is pretty bare bones in terms of software on the computer. I just have the essential drivers a few web browsers, a properly working anti-virus, and the games themselves. I have gotten this error several times

DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed. ") GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760", Driver: 340.52
According the the EA tech support it had to do with a corrupt system 32 windows 7 file KernelBase.dll which was why I did the fresh install of windows 7. Yet it still persists, still getting driver crashes so it seems that something else is the issue.

Do you think it could be an issue with my ram possibly? at this point its likely a hardware issue and there are only a few parts left that I haven't replaced recently. Basically I want a game plan on what the are best steps I should take to go about fixing the issues I am having. Should I sell my 760 and go with an AMD card since I am using an AMD processor? How likely is my graphics card? If it isn't a hardware issue and a software issues why is it still occurring after a fresh install of windows 7? Basically I am thinking it's a hardware issue of some kind so here is a run down of what I am thinking on each of my parts.
CPU: New recently replaced unlikely
Motherboard: again recently replaced unlikely
Power supply: It's a 700w and I'm only running one graphics card and hard drive. I highly doubt that is the problem
Cooling: Again I recently upgraded to a closed loop water cooling system by Cooler Master system temp is fine.
RAM: One of my older parts in my PC, currently I have 4 sticks 2gb DDR3 RAM. The RAM Cards are 3 to 4 years old making them one of the older parts in my PC and I have read that they can be the culprit of crashes. However I am unsure of how likely this is.
GPU: This is one of my newer parts a GTX 760 which is a decent card and with the issues of display this has always been on my mind as a likely culprit however It's still relatively new. I recently built an almost identical PC setup for my brother recently where he is using my old Msi 560ti Hawk with virtually no issues. After I tried multiple versions of the drivers for my 760 with the issues remaining again I cannot be positive that its the graphics card responsible for the problems.
Hard Drive: It's simply a standard disk drive nothing special, though it is again an older part on my computer. I remain skeptical if this is even a possible source.
Basically that's it. I really would love a professional opinion from someone that knows what they are talking about to give me some really strong step by step instructions I should consider talking to identify and fix my problem. Thank you I appreciate any help.
