Battlefield Bad company 2 server problem?

I just ordered the $5 bfbc2 on steam today. I got on an empty server but then it kicked me out. Restarted game, now when I do it no server's pop up no matter what I do. My firewalls are off as well.

Any suggestions or help? really want this to work?

did you uncheck all the option in the server list except punkbuster? try just hitting the reset button as well. You are not the 1,2,3,4 or 5th person I have heard having this problem lately

I got it on the same sale and its been working fine for me, always lots of full servers.
