I have used three sets of these VPN routers from linksys on three different networks and only stuck with them due to their price. In all of the networks intermittently they will not bring up their IPSEC connection and sometimes lock up.
One of the routers is set up with "ANY ANY"
for the remote peer and remote network and the other will have static info for the remote network. This is the router that will bring up the session it does not need to communicate both ways...
Latest firmware...
I tried entering a static IP and static subnet info and it seemed to do allot better regards to freezing. Wierd thing is you reboot the locked up VPN router and it works fine for a few days.. Wierd. I guess you get what you pay for..
