Have fun this evening!, I can not even dream what it will mean to go inside a place filled with different PC parts of all kinds and purpose.
Most local vendors here (Argentina) have a small place with very small and narrow selection of PC parts.
Thank you!!! I can snap a picture for you if you'd like. I live in Chicago, so naturally the store is massive and has parts from the floor to the ceiling in about 75% of it!!

cases ..
wow i know cases my personal favs are the lian li 011 air mini the nr200p max and non max and the jonsbo d31 lcd ..

but the Asus prime 201 will fit a 360mm nicely and the thermaltake ceres 500 if you want to squeeze a arctic freezer ii 420mm aio in there :)

If i was going to pick one out of the bunch for a everything build of kinda smaller form factor but able to fit a ton of stuff in there the lian li 011 air mini front mount a 280mm aio fits ATX mobos and uses a ATX power supply.

when i was using o11 mini air i used 280mm aio in the front 2 exhaust fans on the top one in the back will easily fit a 330mm long gpu with front mounted aio ..

one down side with the air mini is there is no dust filters on the panels !!

If you remember to, I will watch it.
Of course forgot to take a pic!! I'll be back there soon enough and will be sure to.

Ended up getting the 7700x bundle + Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120, Corsair RM850x, the PowerColor 6800XT, 2TB Samsung 980 Pro and a DeepCool CH560 Digital. Spacious case but still smaller and much lighter than my current one that ships with fairly decent aRGB PWM fans. Will likely replace them at some point with Corsair LLs because I like the two-way color scheming you can do with them but these suffice for now.

Elected to go a bit cheaper on the cooler for now but may switch to the DeepCool Assassin IV or an AIO down the road for aesthetics but this will surely do for now especially if I power limit the 7700x. Will see how everything runs stock first before I tweak anything.

No problem. If you rememeber tell us how the temps looks like once you are able to put all togheter and test.

For reading AMD cpu temps (a a whole lot of other info about the system, RAM, GPUs, etc), I like hwinfo 64 (the portable version available on their official page, no need to install anything), and when you open the app, check the "Sensors Only" checkbox.

Don't have cooler to see if I can get it to post to BIOS but I know I did successfully flash the BIOS via USB on the bareboard. Went through it's cycle, rebooted, PSU fan came on briefly, and then CPU and RAM lights obviously came on. Seems it was a success. We will know once I drop the RAM and proc in this weekend!

Will report back with temps once it's all setup

Unfortunately I can't get it to boot barebones out of the case with CPU, cooler and RAM installed. No LEDs come on like they did the other day when I flashed the BIOS. I even powered it down and back up and saw the LEDs come on indicating CPU and RAM issue because no RAM or CPU was inserted. I now have everything installed and can't get it to boot 🙁 I know I can reflash BIOS via USB and try again but I understand that that is supposed to be done with no components installed is that correct?

I have unplugged and replugged in both 8 pin connectors and the 24 pin connector on both the PSU and motherboard as well as the fan cables. I know the PSU provides power because it worked yesterday and the fan doesn't turn on until is under load so it is hard to tell if it is on but I trust that it is.

I think you can disregard. I believe the issue is that my mobo doesn't have a power on button aside from using a screwdriver, jumper, 2 pin to power button or the case to power it on. I was able to flash BIOS because the board was obviously getting power but the power button wasn't needed because I used the USB flash button on the back to start the flash process.

I am going to reflash BIOS just to be safe and hook it up to an HDMI so I can see once it's done it's thing if it will post to BIOS. Don't see why it wouldn't since I was able to see the white LED indicating it was on after the flash the other day.

Oh, thats a pitty.

What you can try is to boot it with only CPU + 1 stick of RAM (in the second slot counting from the CPU to the right), and yes I will suggest you hook up a monitor, keyboard and even a mouse. If it doesn't work that way, then you try to update the BIOS one more time, but be sure to do exactly what MSI explain below, you don't need anything but motherboard + PSU + a USB flashdrive (I hope thats your particular mobo).

According to MSI website manual for MSI PRO B650-P WIFI (https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/PROB650-PWIFI.pdf) the procedure is as follow:

Updating BIOS with Flash BIOS Button
1. Please download the latest BIOS file that matches your motherboard model from
the MSI® website.
2. Rename the BIOS file to MSI.ROM, and save it to the root of the USB storage device.
3. Connect the power supply to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1. (No need to install CPU
and memory.)
4. Plug the USB storage device that contains the MSI.ROM file into the Flash BIOS
Port on the rear I/O panel.
5. Press the Flash BIOS Button to update BIOS, and the LED starts flashing.
6. The LED will be off when the process is completed.

Did someone in Microcenter told you you need it a BIOS update?, cause far as I know you don't need a BIOS update for that CPU you got to work with that particular motherboard..... well actually to any motherboard.

It was the silliest of things. The mobo doesn't have an on switch so while everything was getting power the mobo wasn't actually turning on. When I flashed BIOS, the USB flashback button woke the mobo but save a screwdriver and jumping I didn't have another way to fire it up. Grabbed a power switch for $4 from Microcenter just to ensure I wasn't going insane. Fired right up. The switch will be good to have around for any board that doesn't have a Power button on the mobo itself.

Haven't dropped in the case but will later today!
