Hello folks,

I just recently finished building a computer for a friend, running a 300W power source that came with the case I bought.

Computer components look like this:
3.06 Ghz 533 Fsb processor
Intel 845PESV mobo
60 gig hard drive
6600 GT graphics card (AGP)
Audigy 2 24-bit sound card
1024 Mb memory
network card
simple plain cd-rom drive

The computer starts up and works, but from what I've read on this site, I'm still thinking I should have went with a larger PSU. Would you guys recommend that I change the PSU to a higher watt one (how big should I get?) or is the 300W I have installed right now sufficient enough ?

That 300watt psu must be huring, lol.
I wouldn't go below a 350-380 in that I think. A 400+ would probably be best just to have a little overhead.
If there is less draw on the psu it will produce less heat and that is better for it, your computer, and you (less noise).
