BenQ G925HDA wont start!?

I just got my brand new Screen but when i plugged everything the screen wont start or anything, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? anyone, Thanks!

See if the DVI works or if that is what you are using try the VGA port. I had a Benq screen that had a problem with its DVI port. It could be the case here.

But that's not the problem, the whole screen wont start it wont light up, do you get it?

Actually I do get it. If there is a faulty port on the screen it will demonstrate that fault by......failing to start and light up because it wont be getting a signal. As a failed port is a possibility it needs to be eliminated as a possible cause. Do you get that?

If the screen is showing no signs of power at all then make sure it is plugged in properly. If it is plugged in and there is no sign of life RMA it. If there is power but no screen try swapping to another input such as VGA. If a port is faulty or you still cant get it to work RMA it. If you have another screen then try that also to make sure it is not a GPU problem. Make sure you have not bent any pins on the cable to the screen.

Yes i have checked that i have plugged in the power cable and everything, it still wont work 🙁

Some good advice from Wamphryi though, if everything he suggested fails and you're sure the gpu is ok, maybe try the monitor at a friends pc and if it still isn't working RMA it.

Nope the monitor wont even start so im sending it back and calling them tomorrow :/
