Hi,

I was looking for an affordable 10-bit monitor for professional work related to Film & VFX. I found two from BenQ - SW240 and PD2700Q. I'm aware about the size and resolution differences between the two, but my main concern is the color accuracy. Since one is 24-inch and the other is 27-inch but the price is same in my country.

Both are 100% sRGB but SW240 shows Adobe RGB (1998) at 99% and 3D LUT 14bits, whereas PD2700Q has no mention of Adobe RGB and 3D LUT. Every other spec for color is same.

My main priority is the better color features amongst the two, but PD2700Q is bigger and has better other features. So I'm a little confused.

Will there be a significant difference while doing color grading in comparison? Is there any other better monitor in such range?

Would be great if someone could clear my doubts here. Thanks!

100% of sRGB is roughly 80% of DCI-P3, so yes, there is gonna be a big difference in terms of color performance. Besides, Adobe RGB trumps all when it comes to color accuracy, which is why its often used in photography.
