Benq XL2430T Headphones connection

I just got a new Benq XL2430T monitor, I have a problem to connect my headphones directly to the monitor (on the left side) Indeed I'm connected by DVI-DL for video and HDMI for sound ... but it's impossible to get at the same time a video game at 1920 x 1080 @144Hz with sound in headphones ... I don't find a suitable solution ...thanks in advance for your help

4. Connect the headset.

Connect the headphone connector of your headset
to the headphone jack found on the left side of the
monitor.
Connect the audio cable between the PC and the
monitor (via the Mic-In jack at the back). And then
connect your microphone connector on the
headset to the microphone jack at the left side of
the monitor.

The headphone jacks work only when the audio source is
HDMI or DisplayPort

so, for 144hz gaming + headphones, a Display Port cable purchase is required make sure you get a good one

So do you know if i can use my mic also if I get a display port or does DP's only transmit sound and not voice

pc(mobo audio) to monitor (via the Mic-In jack at the back) please refer to monitor manual i have posted.it even has pictures!

mini jack audio cable male to male

this is the cable you need, mini jack male to male. you can also try a local store!

wow, i've got the same monitor, and been wondering why mic jack is not working xd yeah.. why the hell they can't put audio cable into same box with monitor!!! 300GBP monitor, and they can't put worthless audio cable into box!!! 21st century...
