Best $120 GPU?????

Best $120 gpu to pair with i5-2300 for the next world of warcraft expansion? currently have hd 7850

Keeping the HD 7850 is your absolute best option if you can't spend more than 120 dollars. Still a good card.

If it's USD, GTX 950 it is. In your case though,i would just wait for new comers, looking promising.

the new gpu's are coming out at the end of 17' and will start with high-end so probably early 18 for low end ones. i need to upgrade sooner due to my son needing the hd 7850 back in his pc since his other gpu died.

I don't think you will find a NEW card for $120 that is as fast as the HD-7850. The GTX 950 usually starts much higher than that. And isn't a worthwhile performance improvement over the HD-7850. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html

also the gtx 950 cheapest ive seen is $150 right now......may be able to get a used 960 in my area for 120 but its not through a licensed seller so im kinda concerned about that

Check warranty informations of the used gtx 960 and if it is working normally.

You can find GTX 950 for 129$ on newegg,but your best bet is to keep your current GPU and wait for new series of GPUs

the 129 gtx 950 is after rebate so its actually a 140 dollar card. and as ive stated above i can not keep the current card as it is going back to my son since it belongs to him and his other one died. so i am forced to buy a new card and i have $ 120 to do it with not after rebates since i dont have the money to spend and wait 2 months for a rebate.
