I must have a good one, my Inno3d 8800gt OC runs stable at 758/1915/1050 unlinked. No volt mod as such but I did up the PCI-e voltage by .2 in the bios (on a gigabyte p35 mobo) i'm running 100mhz in the pci-e frequency. Did a 14712 3dmark06 score with a e8400 at 4.205ghz. I'm using a hr-03gt cooler, the card doesn't get above mid 40c even after hours of Crysis (on high setting with xp). Used ati with that setting with no errors, tried the auto ajuster in ati, it ran the card straight to 835 then crashed my computer, not sure what that was about! :??: Cheers

Update, Heres an interesting discovery, after flashing my 8800GT to my tested and OC'd settings, I ran a previous benchmark to compare against the Riva Tuner software controlled OC benchmark I'd previously run, and with Riva Tuner out of the picture, the score increased by almost 1,000.

I guess the Crysis error I got about emulation software conflicting with the game, definitely had something to do with Riva Tuner.

I've tried Ntune since they released a new one and also the EVGA precision. All dont let me play at 700/1000 like I want too. I am afraid that if I were to flash the bios to the faster clocks that it wouldnt be stable and I would have to flash back=way too much work for me!

@hughyhunter

There are no guarantees that you'll ever get to stably run at 700/1000, all hardware is different some will OC much further than others, trying to attain someone elses OC may be just enough to damage your card so be careful on that.

I was able to get through 3dmark06 with 725/1000. I tried 730/1000 and it crashed right away. All settings linked though. I also tried 725/1005 and it also crashed right away.

Oh well!!! :bounce:

Now I'll see what Crysis likes and dislikes!

core 730, mem 1100

I've done a few runthroughs on Kombustor's (Furmark) Benchmark. But I'm not sure it's 100% stable yet. No artifacts so far. I'll probably have to slow down the memory once it heats up though during stability.

EDIT: 725/1070 linked appears to be stable.

MUCH LATER: I don't know if that speed ever ended up stable. I think my core or shader is crashing it. No artifacts so far, but something crashes in games. It's tougher since I'm SLI'ing two now.
