Best air CPU cooler?

I'm looking at getting an 8700k with Trident Z RGB Ram and I've heard that the heat spreaders on the ram are big so I'm looking for a decent air cooler that wont get in the way of the ram. I will be using a Gigabyte - Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 mobo and I have a cooler master haf x case. thanks

NOT HIGH OC , but mild would be fine , great cooler for no ram interference.

ok great thanks, would a titan dragonfly 3 cooler work for stock clock speeds? ideally want to wait till I have the money to get the cryorig cooler for OC.

I wouldn't use that cooler for a 8700k even at stock speeds.

Not sure, but personally it's not enough for an 8700k

Best to spring for a Noctua NH-D15, and a case that it fits in....
