I have Edge because I can not get rid of it. I have Chrome because it is quick to check my email(gmail). I have Firefox to download videos. Firefox addon will download videos that Chrome will not download. If I could get Edge to show email option, one click , and download videos I would use it just to have one browser. Any suggestions ?

In my opinion, Microsoft Edge is fastest to boot and run, even if you have a low-performance machine.
Google chrome is great if your system can handle it. It usually uses the most ram. Great use of 64-bit architecture.
Firefox is still trying to figure stuff out. They just recently started supporting 64-bit architecture and still have a few bugs. Great community with quite a lot add-ons.

As for your mail issue, get the windows Mail app (assuming you're running windows 10). You can add it to you're task bar and your emails will be a click away.

Having 2+ browsers is a horrible idea and will slow you're system down.
Cheers.

I have no experience with edge. Still running windows 7.
But I agree with the poster above that simplicity is best with one browser if you can manage it.
With IE, I get automatic email downloads to windows live mail.
I like that I have access using search to my own email history.
The original still stays on Comcast for access by other of my pc's.

For any issues with using edge for everything, google search is your friend for finding solutions.

Thanks. I agree about 2+ browsers. I will try an addon video downloader in Edge and the Mail app. I running Windows 10 with a G4600 and 8G of RAM. I am hoping to direct all of my downloads to my HDD. I am also running Windows 7 on one of my other computers so I am trying to get Windows 10 to do what I have done on Windows 7

Thanks for the input. I agree. Keep it simple ! If only Microsoft felt the same way.
