Any help on this would be very much appreciated:

Im currently running:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+
K9N Neo V3
Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS 512MB
4GB Patriot DDR2 800Mhz

Im running on an *extremely* tight budget at the moment, but this machine isnt keeping up with the game I play most. (Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning)

To me it seems the component which is most lacking is my graphics card. Can anyone recommend a card in the 50-100 range? Or should I be more concerned with upgrading other components?

Again, I really would really appreciate any input you want to give me on this!

you are going to be more cpu limited at lower resolutions, so I would say nothing higher than a hd 4670 - 4850 would benefit you much...and while it is better than what you have, it won't be a great leap forward. Price range on those cards is $55 - $100

What is the power supply that you have ??? Does it have PCIe 6-Pin power connectors ?? What is the rating of your PSUs...
And @ what resolution you play ??

For about $100, you can get the HD 4850...but your PSU should be powerful enough to run it though...

If you have a weak PSU, then the best possible upgrade would be to a HD 4670...

Thank you for the replies, that review list was excellent I spent hours looking for something like that.

I'm afraid my PSU is very basic, came with the case 550W I believe. I'm thinking the 4670 is probably the best bet for me.

Last thing I would ask of you guys: Which brand of 4670 should I go for? Is there a significant difference between the brands?

You can. If the 4850 is in your budget you should definitely go that route. Probably the best bet for your money, within your PSU requirements assuming it meets your price.
