Just as the the title states, I'm looking for the best cpu cooler I can get for around $60 or cheaper.

I am currently looking at these two.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103055
Coolermaster V8: Seems like everyone's talking about this one.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106123
Thermaltake SpinQ Performance: I saw this CPU cooler running on many very high end, $2,000-$3,000 computers at quakecon.
Quakecon= Big computer convention.

The coolermaster is looking like probably the best bet right now, and the Termaltake SpinQ just looks awsome, haha. But once again, it's all about which cpu cooler cools the best.

I will be running a AMD Phenom ll X3 Processor. It's the 95watt black design, so I plan on overclocking as much as possible!
I have the Antec 900 case, so the size of the cooler shouldn't be a problem.
Please feel free to look up the two cpu coolers I've listed and give your opinions on them, and please give any recommendation on cpu coolers other than these two.

The best cooler for around $60 is what I'm looking for. Thanks.

I saw that, and I agree that it's very nice. Only thing is though.. I can't find anywhere to buy it lol.. I googled it, but no luck. I'm probably just missing it... So far though, haven't found a site to buy it from

I've been looking around for the past 30 minutes, and I have not been able to find the 3R System Boss 2 anywhere. If anyone has a link that shows the price, and where I could purchase this item, please send it.

I'm sure the CCF will outperform the Zalman, but let's see some results 😀
Make sure to use some thermal paste

I think so also! My Uncle is going to use which ever cooler I do not use. Once again, I'm not sure which model of the Zalaman I purchased, but it was $70!! It was rated #2 for AMD on frostytech. We'll see soon though! More than likely, I'll test them out Sunday.

in that case it's the Zalman CNPS10X Extreme, which is a new product and frosty didnt do review on it yet
i thought u purchased the old zalmans..maybe the performance will be similar, who knows what zalmans is up to.

I actually shipped the coolers to my Uncle's house. He has tested the core contact cooler with his AMD quad core at 3Ghz. Stress test for 6 hours, and it never went over 41 degrees Celsius. I'm going for 4Ghz on my triple core! What is the highest temperature you guys are comfortable at running your processor at? I personally think 60 degrees under a full load is the safest max temperature to run at.

What do you guys think of the Scythe MUGEN-2 SCMG-2000 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler?

Is is suppose to be better than than the MUGEN?

I was comparing the reviews for the Core Contact Cooler and the Scythe MUGEN-2 on Real World Labs and the Scythe ran slightly cooler and was about as loud as the Core Contact Cooler - both were louder than many of the others tested.

Another I was looking at was the XIGMATEK Dark Knight-S1283V 120mm Long Life Bearing CPU Cooler.

The 3R System BOSS 2 looks like the real deal. A concern of mine is its durability. The recommended retail price is $43 US. Too bad it's not readily available.

I would, except I could not find a single place on the web to buy it. ( I looked for at least an hour, and so did my Uncle) Plus I'm already in the process of testing out the Zalaman and Core Contact Cooler as we speak : )
