best etherium mining gpu £250- £370?

I was looking at the gtx 1070 and the rx 580 8gb, I dont particularly care about power consumption. the gtx 980 ti costs less than the gtx 1070 and has similar specs but I cant find anything for how it does in etherium mining?, would it do similar to the gtx 1070? if not is there a better option for the money?

As much as I advise against the redundancy of Etherium mining because of how little return is offered for the price you pay for the system, I suppose to say that the 1070 is more than likely your best bet. If it helps you, the 1070Ti is coming around soon, so that's also a consideration.

The 580 MUST be BIOS modded to compete with the 1070. Once it's modded, it will be pretty much neck and neck for hashes per watt. If you don't want to mod the BIOS, stick with the 1070.
