Hello

Please read the entire thread before replying...

I'm wondering - what is the best free PDF Editing Software, suitable for Win 10/11?
I'm also interested in paid versions too, but the focus should be on free software.

Note that I'm not so keen on purely Online/Web methods - as they are a big privacy concern when it comes to personal details - for certain types of Documents.

So I'm much more interested in actual software.

I want to do things like: Fill out / Add / Remove - Ticks / Crosses / Signatures, and text in forms - for PDFs, and other formats ?

If you have some suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you for your help

The issue will be the non web based part.

PDF Escape is web based and really decent and full featured.

Dashboard/DocHub has a pretty good one we are getting used to as well. (also web based)

I personally pay for Adobe because I use it so much. There are a few features that I really wish they could copy from PDFE, especially an 'eraser' as sometimes edit in Paint won't work. The only massive complaint I have is that if the pdf comes off of Apple (like Cutie PDF) I have to make a whole new report for mistakes as it won't edit or change anything.

So far as I understand Apple has a few native programs. It would be nice if MS would get in the game.
