Question Best graphics card to replace a rtx 2070

Hi there everyone I'm thinking might have to buy a new graphics card for some of the newest games coming out

EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 BLACK GAMING, 08G-P4-1071-KR, 8GB GDDR6​

This is the one I have and I just really want to play AC shadows and other new games but I cannot afford a 16gb one as there too expensive anyone know which one will be the best thank you. Ps also do I need a new PSU for this

I notice your ram is running at 2400mhz. Is that the memory speed or do you have something faster and XMP /DCOP is not enabled. Worth checking as AM4 can be sensitive to ram speed.

How old is your CX850 power supply? As for up upgrade from your 2070, an RX 6800 XT, 6900 XT, 7800 XT, 7900 GRE, or RTX 3090 or 4070 Super would be about double your current performance. Unfortunately you're looking to spend between 4 and 500 hundred dollars for a meaningful upgrade in graphics. The chart in the article below should give you a good idea of what you need, your GPU performs between the RX 6600 and RTX 3060, probably pretty similarly to the Arc A750. With that being the case, you want something thats about twice as powerful as that A750. If you can wait another 3 or 4 months, we should see how well AMD's RDNA 4 performs and is priced, that may be a decent option in the future as well.
