My thoughts exactly. I bought a 960 last year and realized I made a mistake. I should have gone a bit higher and will wait until next gen to do it. I'm biased towards nvidia though, so hopefully the next 970-equivalent will be the step up I need. I'm under 1440p (1080p ultrawide), but hoping to change that too.Time to wait for the next gen from both. 1440P is the sweet spot. 4K on the PC is an expensive bragger's rights, computer room heater.

Yeah, totally agree. I think with the cards being discussed, it can all be summed up pretty well here: http://i.imgur.com/UsjpwH8.jpgMy thoughts exactly. Anyone ever toy with the idea of Xfire Fury Nanos?
Seem like it would deliver good 4k performance and just the other day I saw those cards going for $460.
Its more of a productivity display for me, 4x1080p and windows 10 corner snapping is awesome for productivity. Right now im watching Talking Dead on the bottom left while writing this and on the top right i have Makerbot Desktop open with a few folders with it and top left is utorrent and general folders open.Time to wait for the next gen from both. 1440P is the sweet spot. 4K on the PC is an expensive bragger's rights, computer room heater.
