Do you play first person shooters? Because, most games will run great on an Nvidia GTX 960 but if you want to be professional in Battlefield or Call of Duty you will want at least Radeon 380X or Radeon 390. The 380X is not a great value in my opinion. The 390 will provide much more performance.

Also, you might want to wait 2 months for the new products coming.

I just wanted to say how happy I was to see the organization of recommendations change from cost based to resolution based. This is a much more natural and useful way to recommend products. I wish the pc builds would follow suit and move to a resolution based approach. After all, when building a new pc my main focus is on balancing the system so I pay just the right amount to achieve the experience I am after (in my personal case, this would be playing witcher3 maxed out at 1080p).

I need some advice guys. I'm currently running an ASUS 6850 and a 6700K. Obviously my GPU is outdated. I'm looking to grab something like a 970 GTX but something tells me to wait it out for a newer generation of GPU. Buy now or wait it out? I'm an occasional PC gamer buy my GPU is mainly used for watching HD movies via MPC and MadVr
