hii want to buy a new graphics card DDR3 please sagec me MSI N650-2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 650 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card:- 9355 is this ok

750 Ti summary goes with "While the Radeon R7 260X offers similar performance". But in Graphics Card Hierarchy Chart 750 Ti is two steps up the ladder. Would you please elaborate the details?

Considering the average gaming performance, from the review of the 750ti, it showed to be more in line with an HD 7850. I am not sure what the deal is here either. Actually, there is another contradiction here.

From page 1
In short, the GeForce GTX 750 Ti is about as fast as AMD's Radeon HD 7850, so it doesn't set any speed records per se.

From page 3
While the Radeon R7 260X offers similar performance for considerably less money, gamers who want to upgrade an entry-level PC with a low-output power supply may consider the GeForce GTX 750 Ti, which is rated at 60 W (a little more than half of the 260X's 115 W). Nvidia suggests you use at least a 300 W power supply with this card.

I sum this up to sloppy work. The price tracker needs to do a better job too. It shows a link to a $183 750ti, when there are others out there far cheaper. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IFZ547Q/?tag=pcpapi-20

Try reading it again, the 660 is clearly listed on the bottom of page 3.

Get the 750 ti when the prices drop a bit or the 260x. Both cards are good value and the 750 ti comes with all the nvidia support the 650 dosent plus more performance. if you feel comfortable with 1 gb then the 750 is also a good choice.

GTX 750ti is on par with an HD 7850 without the need for an expensive PSU. Good luck finding a 7870 in stock for a decent price. You are better off getting a GTX 660. Damn *****coin miners have really f'd over gamers wanting AMD cards.

Well, the 750 Ti is just slightly slower than the HD 7850. But then it uses like half as much power. Normally I don't look at power consumption much, but when it's this dramatic it kinda deserves mention.

Amen!

Not sure if anyone cares, but NewEgg just put the Sapphire R9 290 Tri-x OC on sale for $494 after discount and promo code REMMUS78. That might be a PREMIER price, not sure. But premier has 30 day free trial.

Edit: Not a premier price.

BRO I have 5500rs. budget... and I want to buy graphics card for best gaming expirience. Just tell me which graphics card is best for buying near that range... any1 help

HiI'd like to see an additional area in the Hierarchy Chart showing what tier video cards would be in when used in either SLI or Crossfire. (At least dual card setups!) That way we would know if an investment in two cards from a lower tier is better then an investment in a more expensive single card from a higher tier.

I agree with you, it would be useful. The problem is SLI and Crossfire aren't 100% reliable like a single gpu. You could in theory get great scaling in one game, but no improvement whatsoever in another. So until that issue and many others are resolved, you'll have to turn to other sources for referencing sli and cf setups.

True! I play BF4 mostly, and that would be the test I'd look at.
But, I was hoping that we could get at least a mere estimate of a comparison. For instance, I currently use a HD7950. I'd like to know if I add a second HD7950, where 'approximately' would that put me on the chart versus a single gpu config?

This chart helped me immeasurably this weekend in a search for a new video card. I'd been out of the hardware game since I built my rig about 5 years back. The trusty GTX 280 I had was getting a bit long in the tooth and some of the newer games I was trying to play required trade-offs to run at 1080p. My budget was under $200 but after looking at this chart I realized there weren't a lot of significant gains I could achieve unless I bumped my budget up slightly (the three tier or more bump rule). I wound up grabbing an R9 270X - five tiers up from my 280 - for slightly more than my $200 ceiling and the performance gain is fantastic! Thanks a lot for putting this info out there!

So you did that despite the fact that the 270x was not one of the recommended cards at that price range?

It's possible that he wanted an AMD card and that one fit close to his budget. I'm not saying it was a bad decision, but some people like to vote with their wallet and might not always select the best option. I don't know this for sure, but that could make sense in this case.

I just thought it was odd that he was praising the guide, but not following its recommendations. And then going from 5 solid years of Nvidia ownership to suddenly switch to AMD just adds to the mystery. In the end, all that matters is that he's happy and the guide helped in some way.
