theres no way to tell if its well optimized or not unless you have looked at the code yourself but aside from that it still gives modern cards trouble and i dont know how you can argue that.

so you played the campaign and thats it, honestly i havent even touched the campaign but have been playing online for almost two years now, I play lots of games too, Rift, SC2, BFBC2, TF2, Just Cause 2, Mass Effect 2, Portals 2, Bulletstorm, Crysis 2, Batman AA, to name a few....my argument is that BFBC2 is superior to any COD game, in the end its all about having fun and what you like, didnt mean to stress you there pikachu

Imho -

COD = mainstream, pop. military FPS bordering on cliché yet with a solid and popular mechanic.

BFBC2 = (comparatively) realistic shooter, somewhat similar to COD, yet without the brand name behind it to boost sales, or the instantly gratifying system that the console gamers find so appealing.

LoL, re-read what you say and you will even laugh if you ever noticed that I never said I only played offline mode for it ^.^ I've been playing the Battlefield series for a long time now, it's just I like to play more than one game unlike some. Besides I haven't really played CoD Black Ops too much other than for purposes of reviewing such as Gamespot. Notice also I was pointing flaws out not saying it better or worse than others. Just think of all the mad users of another popular series New Vegas which also had the same issues just about.

Far as GTA IV goes it's a little over 3 years old now and reason it's cpu intensive is the higher you set the view distancel, shadows, and car density the harder your cpu has to work to keep up since they took the time to give every npc a unique AI that allows them to interact as they try to continue a normal route. Such as when they run into an object they have the option of how they want to deal with it such as getting out of their car and bashing a person to death. ^.^ Overall, doesn't really matter what I say to you since you will try to say that I choose this over than and why you don't like it. Have a great day and take care.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the kind of sharp shooting game that I wish were present more in number.

Also, I loved Mafia II for the environment it offered on a decent PC hardware setup. It was a very pleasing experience. I wish that game were longer. I am sure with L.A. Noire, this genre is now becoming mainstream. Excellent graphics on these rockstar titles as well.

Is this thread ever going to end btw? :)

Crysis, great lighting effect with great game engine and natural beauty with cool graphics can be easily found in original Crysis.

And if you want to get something old then original Half-Life 2,such graphics in those days!! .really Impressive.Valve rockzz.

I remember when the original sonic the hedgehog came out for genesis; I thought it was the bees-knees as a kid. How about how shockingly gory it was to play Mortal Kombat II was for the first time. If you were born in the early 80s as I was, these were some of my earlier memory of graphical feats in gaming... also playing half life/CS for the first time and it blew my mind. I remember in middle school, installing the original warcraft in the computer lab for a class wide battle many days when the lackadaisical computer class teacher didn't mind... anyways, somewhere along the way pc games changed from police quest to half life amd beyond but there is no doubt that valve has paved the way for many developers that have since come into play.

In my best graphic games list I can include the all and whole one and only GTA. Other then this I can say Dirt 2 is also a good graphic game. Both are my favorite and I can definitely say that you will sure aware of both of this games.

I really can't find any differences between BBBC2 and COD MW2(I have played none of them just watched gameplay videos in T.V. and Youtube....Please Don't laugh..😀)May anyone tell me the difference you have seen?

I'd have to agree with Mozart25 -- The Witcher 2 is absolutely gorgeous. I nearly died in an ambush once because I was staring at the scenery. Any game that can do that to me definitely gets my vote.

It's been a while since I last saw this thread... I must concur with the shouts of Witcher 2, it's brilliant, especially with ubersampling. I can't think of a better looking game right now.

Any Crysis 2 did turn out to be a graphical let down! Although lets see what the DX11 patch brings...

Far as I've seen from the trailers of TES 5: Skyrim it will be pushing just as hard on video cards when it comes out ^.^ bumped up the graphics a lot more than it previously was in Oblivion and that was a pretty stressful game when it first game out for most everyone due to putting shadows on everything including the large amount of grass.

Here's my list(not in any particular order), though you can't compare them directly because the environments are different:-
1. Crysis Warhead(a bit better than Crysis IMO)
2. Metro 2033
3. The Witcher 2
4. Battlefield 3(when it comes out).

I'll withhold judgment in a MW3 vs. BF3 matchup (I like both), but the bottom line is that NEITHER ARE OUT YET and neither can be considered the "best PC graphics game." Yet.
