Best low profile mechanical gaming keyboard

Hi!

I'm looking for a low profile mechanical gaming keyboard! Any suggestions on what I should get? I would like the keyboard to be in the sub $100 dollar range. Macro keys aren't a necessity; but back lighting, "gaming mode" to disable Windows functions, and volume control are a must have!

What exactly do you mean by low profile? Laptop-style?

I use a Razer BlackWidow X Chroma, and I swear my typing speed has gone up by almost 20 WPM since I got it. It's way more responsive than my old Logitech G510s, and it's incredibly easy to keep clean; it doesn't have the plastic shroud like the standard BlackWidow Chroma model, meaning to clean it you just hit it with an air duster. The keys are all fully exposed and crumbs and dust just blow away instead of getting stuck inside the plastic shroud.

Plus it has full Razer Chroma functionality; right now, my keys turn red when I hit them, and then fade back to green.

Tell that to the DeathAdder 2013 that I just replaced a few weeks ago simply because I felt it was time for an upgrade. Only thing that ever happened to that was one of the side rubber pads fell off, but a little glue fixed that right up.
