I currently have a Razer Lycosa and while I LOVE the rubber buttons, I hate that they are pealing and I can't read the letters. You would think that since I can type without looking it wouldn't matter, but it does when your under pressure. Also the on/off light button always gets hit by my pinky and turns off. No one likes to look down for a macro key and see NOTHING. Also, not the most impressive macro features. I need seperate macro keys please.

I'm now past my venting, and looking for a new Gaming board. I play Rift right now (only put WOW cuz it's something more people can relate to). I want decent macro functions (seperate buttons) a well lite board, and I'm not spending over $100. Right now I'm pushing to one of the SideWinders X4 or X6, but not too sure.

Suggestions please?

Do you know if the x4 is totally compatable with win7 64. I saw the specs said XP or Vista so I was a little conserned.

if you wanna focus on MMOs the logitech g13 will do the trick and much much more. here is the description : http://www.logitech.com/en-us/keyboards/keyboard/devices/5123.
Use your normal keyboard for everyday use and pop this monster up for major owning.

It looks a little rough to get used to. I read the analog stick is near worthless because it's hard to move.

I'm interested, but what's the overall pros. Are the buttons that much easier to get to that it's excels a keyboard? And do you use a mouse or the keyboard with your right hand.

OK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Need help deciding. I've decided now that it's between the Logi's G110 and Micro's Sidewinder X4 (sorry, the G13 looked like too much for me). Both boards seem to have similar features and good reviews. Everything I pretty much need.

So, thoughts on which please????

I didn't get your email in time. 🙁

I waited till 11pm and ended up going with the SidewinderX4. I actually was right on the verge of the G110, but newegg ran out due to the deal which put the G110 way more expensive than the Sidewinder.

Oh well. It's not like it's a bad decision, and since I have a SidewinderX6 mouse, they'll be together. I figure a year or two down the road I'll upgrade to all Razer since I do like their look and feel. That is if they can make a board without issues and has the right features. THANKS!

Just giving you a heads up. If you really wanna upgrade to something fantastic, check out the mechanical keyboards. The razer black widow is a marvel to use... it feels like your fingers are just gliding over the keyboard. It also has some macro keys. The only downside is the noise they make, it's like a typewriter...

BTW. Don't feel bad about your choice, at that level, they both have qualities and defaults.
