Hi all,

What is the best MOBO for my 4Gigs of DDR2-3200(400)RAM while wanting to use a Core 2 Duo (E6600) CPU. I've seen several 945 chipsets that will fulfill my needs but does anyone know which MOBO with the 965 chipset or 975 chipset that will still be able to use my DDR2-3200 RAM?? I would hate to have to purchase more RAM when I have these 4 perfectly good sticks available..

Thanks for everyone's help and advice!!

Hi Family and thanks for your quick reply. Not confused, as stated in my first post it is DDR2-3200 or (400Mhz) speed. I also have the first gen DDR-3200 (400) but only at 512Megs..

I know that most of the newer mobos will use 800, 667, 533 speed DDR2 RAM. I'm just trying to find the best possible MOBO for my 400 speed RAM while still using Core 2 Duo (E6600) CPU.

Thanks again for your help and input.

Hi Family,

Thanks again for your quick response. I was afraid of that answer. I know that it is the slowest of the DDR2 family but I was hoping that it would still work competently without having to purchase more RAM...

Thanks again for your help.
