Best Monitor Under $250

I've finished getting the parts for my new computer build, and I have a GTX 970 for it. It's amazing, but I want a good monitor that some cool features. Is there any recommendations for around or under 250?

I don't know what retailer you prefer, but my pick would be Acer GN246HL Black 24" 1ms 144hz. There is not beating 144hz if you I have the gpu power in how smooth the game feels. I own a 970 myself and you should be all set.

Would there be a significant difference between 60hz and 144hz refresh rate? Cause many say that the human eye can't go past 60fps.

Whom ever said are our eyes can't see more than 60 hz is dead WRONG. the game will feel much smoother becuase the image will refresh more than twice as fast.

There is SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE ( Main monitor Asus vg248qe 144hz , 2nd monitor ASUS VE247H basically using for much easier multitasking ) The difference can be seen even at DESKTOP by moving screen fastly. So for gaming i really really recommend 144HZ

Pretty much cheapest 2k monitor is around 300$

4k around 500$

but most of the 2k and 4ks are 60hz. 120hz ---> High price!

I really suggest you for 1080p 144hz ! Much higher fps for games than 4k !
