Best Motherboard for AMD Athlon x2

Which motherboard is best suited for an AMD Athlon x2 CPU? I am generally look at something with a single PCI-E 2.0 slot (i dont need CrossFite/SLI), DDR2 1066/800 MHz DIMM slots, built in audio/networking, and I do not plan on overclocking. Any form factor.

So... any suggestions?

Depends on which x2 you want. Some of the newer models, such as the 7750be, may need a particular chipset or bios flash to post. I would read some reviews at newegg, and click on the "manufacturer Info" link. Look for "cpu support" and see if your cpu is supported.

Well, I know fully well what motherboards support an AMD Athlon x2 processor, but I am curious as to which motherboards are recommended. I have read reviews on Newegg for a few boards and they all have lotsa poor-ratings. I was just looking for somebody who has experience with an AMD board and if they might help to choose. For example, which company is known to be better at making AMD boards (if any): Asus, gigabyte, MSI etc.
